A combination of fruit from old vines and younger vines from Quinta da Vista Alegre. After very careful vinification, the wine was matured for 18 months in New French oak. The wine is unfiltered and was not cold stabilised to retain the natural aromas. It may have sediment so it is always advised to decant. Elegant and full of aromas and flavours of the Douro.
Tasting Notes
Notes of cassis and wild berries with touches of small wild red berries and plum as well as touches of scrubland, black olive and spices.
On the Nose
Red fruits, floral notes and extremely discreet oak with toasted aromas.
